Stellar Stream Catalogs (in prep)
Combining globular cluster evolution models, basis function expansion, and a new updated particle spray method, we compute mock globular cluster stellar stream populations for four Milky Way-like galaxies. The catalogs will be available for download on github and can be used to study stellar streams in a variety of ways.
Filaments in the Smith High-Velocity Cloud
Using fil3d, an algorithm to identify 3D linear structures in position-position-velocity space, we identify filamentary structures in the Smith Cloud, a high velocity cloud in the Milky Way, as well as a population of local filaments along the line of sight. The filamentary structures help us to infer the physical properties of the Smith Cloud and its interaction with the Milky Way halo.
